Stellar QB, stellar WR, steller DT/DE. We have a decent RB, decent LB in Jones. OLine needs help but if healthy will be solid. DBs/Safety needs help and RunD needs help. But we are not a lost cause. I believe we’ll end with a winning season.

Could be setting up for a fun year like 2017. Went in with low expectations only to have a fantastic year.
At least this shows that they care about their fans and are making an effort to explain to the bandwagoner of what the team is doing. I still have faith in the team that they are doing the best they can given the current resources. We really pushed to win the SB in 2022, using draft picks and money. It makes sense to try and reload on resources and to make a push in a few years.

Until I see moves that back it up it’s just noise. Tanking is illegal in the NFL, and this sure looks like a tank job. They just can’t overtly come out and say it.
Note that IMO there’s nothing wrong with that if they need to do so to get back to competitive ball.
But this year, we lost a HOF CB, a HOF MLB, our best edge, a good DT, two decent to good safeties, a solid nickel CB, a pro bowl K, a very good punter, even our best return man. Even a backup QB who was #1 overall pick a few years ago and did some good work for us. And we’ve gotten – nothing.
I think it’s no surprise that next year is the first year we have our #1 pick. It’s going to be a high one from the looks of it.

As a season ticket holder I fully expected to be in the Super Bowl every year!!! This is extremely disappointing!!!
This is a great explanation regarding the path forward and helping the fans understand the thought process behind the moves. Win or Lose still a Rams fan! Go Rams!!!

This reminds me of a few years ago when the New York rangers sent a letter out to their fans explaining how they would be selling off core pieces that got them to a Stanley Cup final. They acquired assets and rebuilt.
As an NJ Devils fan, it pains me to say that they are in fact a really good team now and it was smart idea to move on when they decided to move on.
Here’s hoping the Rams find (significantly) more success. Also LGD

Not many teams have the balls to go ahead and do this. 👏👏👏 At least they’re giving us hope that we’ll win more than 5 games next season lol.
I’ve always talked shit about Kevin because he felt snakey but I love the honesty and it goes a long way. Respect the no BS approach. Go rams, horns up always!

So no tanking, flexible approach, possibility we make moves next trade deadline if we come out of the gates firing. About what I expected. I still think we’re a 7 win team next year, but I think we’re more competitive than the doomers say we will be. Remember we all thought the Seahawks were tanking for Bryce Young, look how that turned out. I like the approach.
Absolutely stoked for this season and the next now. Confirms most of what this sub has been arguing about for months, and also provides us with a bright future
