  1. Tough loss, Embiid cant do it by himself. Really needed to step up defensively as a team but the warriors just worked us the whole last 5 minutes. And our clutch time offense is rough without Harden to distribute. Gotta learn from it though. That was playoff game energy from the warriors and we couldn’t match it.

  2. Anyone who still thinks that Maxey isn’t ass on defense, give them tape on this game

  3. maxey with the worst fucking fourth quarter of his career so far. got shown up by jordan poole and let it affect his play and body language. u need to step the fuck up and just play smarter

  4. These are the most frustrating games that they have too often. 2-3 guys show up then everyone else is silent offensively and contributing very little on the other end/having guys that you can’t hide

  5. Where is Jahlil Okafor? I unironically would take the corpse of Jah over Paul Reed right about now

  6. Really wanted that win since we’re on a B2B against the Suns tomorrow and my guess is Joel probably skips that game.

Fantastic performances from Joel and Tobias. Maxey had a crazy good game through three and then just couldn’t do anything in the 4th. Well, he did have a great no-Jo stretch, actually. Kept us afloat offensively there. I think we’re just really suffering from non-Harden guard play right now, no one can really facilitate when he’s not around.

  7. Harden’s been questionable, hopefully he’s out there tomorrow. Anybody who thinks we should rest Joel and Harden when they’re healthy wants us to end the season on a 10 game losing streak, against this schedule.

I can’t believe that was the majority sentiment on this sub, but if it’s literally not a big injury and they’re good to go they should play

  8. Feels so bad for Embiid. He played his ass and heart out this game, but he was so gassed at the 4th. Not to mention that there’s literally no one else, except for Tobias maybe, that he can rely on in this game. Hopefully Harden suits up tomorrow.

  9. Draymond green definitely enjoyed getting spanked as a child. See y’all tomorrow!

  10. Joel will be exhausted vs Phoenix tomorrow, if he even plays in the first place.

No idea what the strategy was here. This was too predictable. May as well have just rested Embiid and Harden tonight and gone balls to the wall against Phoenix and Denver.

  11. Doc should’ve thought about going smaller with Embiid, moving Tobias up to the four spot and bringing Shake in.

Not mad about that loss, but will be hella disappointing if they lose to PHX now.

  12. I can’t do this “Sixers are 420-6 when PJ Tucker scores 0 points” anymore

Someone needs to get the man back into the white under shirt and figure this out

  13. No matter how much this sub tries to convince me Doc and Niang won’t be Doc and Niang come playoff time, nothing has convinced me otherwise.

  14. Trash bench, but I’m not surprised, they do this every year and in the playoffs as well.

  15. Maxey sells this game and then I have to watch these cure auto insurance commercials

  16. Did not get to watch tonight.. why’s Tobias only taking 3 shots in the entire second half when he’s clearly got it going. Was he just phased out?

  17. I love him, but Maxey has got to start taking more responsibility in Harden out. That’s two losses in three games where in the crunch he has been so passive with the ball, had multiple drive opportunities and instead passed out to Embiid in a double team with seconds remaining.

Haven’t even mentioned we ultimately lost because of Poole’s scoring, which were almost exclusively on Maxey. We know he tries defensively, and he is never going to be a stopper, but if he isn’t aggressive on the offensive end it is going to be impossible to win a playoff series with him on the floor.

  18. People on here saying we should trade away 22 year old Tyrese Maxey. Proof why you don’t give GM jobs to dipshits who think they know everything.

  19. Man, I am just happy to see Tobias Harris improving at such a crucial moment of the season. Maxey is still very immature in his decision making but I am still optimistic for him in the playoffs as long as Harden is there to facilitate.

  20. This game pissed me off because it was disrespectful to Embiid from coaches to players. Doc let the team drop a lead from 9 to 2 before chucking Embiid back in to dig them out. Several times specifically in the 4th people had better opportunities than Embiid who was being double and triple teamed and yet they threw the ball back to him. He literally shaking his head like wtf. It’s so late in the season why are we not looking for the team to be dynamic as a whole? Why aren’t people stepping up? It’s so frustrating

  21. Never thought I’d be saying I wish we had Danuel House Jr. For this game but here we are lol

  22. Demoralizing loss. Not because we lost but because of how we lost. I love Maxey, I love that he plays the game with joy, but he has to find some killer in him because you can’t be smoking layups and airballing floaters in the clutch in high pressure games.

They were leaving PJ Tucker open for corner 3’s, the one offensive thing he is supposed to do well and he clanked all of them. He was even passing it back to Jo to try and get out of taking open 3’s.

Defensively just a mess in crunch time. The Warriors looked confident and were drilling their shots. We looked like we’d forgotten what a basketball was.

  23. The loss isn’t a big deal, but the weaknesses of this team are made clear.

I’ve said it before this team just looks so lost outside of Embiid and Harden in the 4th. A ton of guys playing hot potato instead of letting it fly. They were doubling and tripling Embiid out on the 3 point line and no one wanted to shoot over a closeout. That’s not going to win you playoff series. Guys need to figure it out.

  24. We were simply outgunned even with Joel on God mode. It’s not a bad loss tbh

  25. Within the last 5 min, we spent 2 possessions eating up clock and then settling for a PJ 3 attempt. GS made some easy buckets after each one and chipped away. We had our chances, but forgot about ball movement tn, then wasted a few possessions down the stretch, with low percentage shots.

Tough one, but our last 2 losses are not too worrying for me, at least not yet.

  26. It was a good effort, we have too many guys out right now. Our two best perimeter players House and McDaniels were sorely needed, and ofc Harden as well. Tobias and Embiid were the only bright spots.

In the playoffs, teams will leave PJ open, he’s gonna be a huge liability. That along with targeting Maxey all night long, it’s gonna be tough.
