Let’s be honest with ourselves, when you draft a qb in the top ten it’s all about potential. It’s either gonna pay off or it isn’t. If we purely went off game tape and stats there’s only really two quarterbacks who fit the bill and even for those guys there are questions wether it’s size concerns or consistency/playing up or down to opponents because it’s impossible to know until you know.
Pro days are so overrated look at the film the film doesn’t lie. He is a raw project, but could be something if he lands in the right spot. Judging the quarterback position from the college level to the professional level is virtually impossible, because not only are you playing with better competition at the next level you’re also playing against better competition at the next level.
Too Robotic, No Natural Rhythmic Fluidity… NFL pass rushers will EAT him alive. An interception waiting to happen. Arm overhyped.
But why does he throw like uncle rico
Some of the Levis hate is over the top. He shouldn’t be qb1 this year but people are finding reasons to hate him as a prospect. UK has no talent relative to the rest of the SEC. How would Levis look at OSU, Alabama, or even Florida? Yes, he will miss some throws badly but he has elite tools. And please do not mention Zach Wilson, Wilson’s arm is nowhere near Levis’s nor is he as talented of a runner. If Levis goes to the right team, one with stability and competency in the Front Office, there’s a good chance he’s the best QB out of this class.
