24. Third comment on this post BUT I just can’t believe that we get 162 games of Jordan Walker the St. Louis Cardinal now. I’m so hyped.

25. This is a good time to remind everybody that the Cardinals are not known for manipulating service time ala Kris Bryant. Not saying they never have but with these high-ceiling guys they usually just play it straight.

    Only reason I mention it is because that is alleged every damn time we have a situation like this and it’s just not their M.O. I am happy to say that this is the normal upstanding route that they are truly known for.

    I’m very surprised by this. I absolutely did not think he was coming up on opening day, so I’ll gladly eat my crow on this. But damn, who’s losing their everyday spot is my real question.

    How are all of Gorman, Carlson, Yep, or Burly going to get regular playing time?
