  13. Yeah, I’m officially optimistic for next year. Our forward core is legit, especially once we pick up a true 3C (which is easy through trades/free agency). Hronek is great, it’s amazing how much better our defense looks with a stabilizing force on our top two pairs. Demko is back in form. Tocchet has fixed our defensive systems.

    Call me delusional, I don’t care. Some of y’all just can’t be happy

  14. Big mistake by management to not call up Rathbone sooner. He’s averaging a goal a game since his call up.

  19. fuck sakes this team’s giving me hope for the next year. If we’re committing to a ‘re-tool and compete soon’ direction, I think our 1st is definitely getting traded for a cost effective, young defenceman or centre who fits the timeline.

  27. Hi, I’m a Vancouver Canucks (NHL) Ice Hockey Club fan. I love when my team wins a game, since that’s what I like to see the most. Sometimes seeing them lose is frustrating but they always find ways to make me feel better about it.

  28. Trade the first. Really. It makes perfect sense. If it’s not a lottery pick, then we’re waiting on a guy who may not be ready for 3 years.

    It happens, especially as you get around 10th overall.

    I’ll actually be pissed if they don’t trade the pick.
