  2. Remember the last game last season when Carey was in net and we stomped the panthers? That’s what this game felt like. Missed that energy.

  4. That was fun. Harvey-Pinard obviously got to make a little history for himself, and Suzuki has been really piling on the points as the season winds down.

    The Flyers won and Florida lost, both good; the Islanders lost, which was less good. The Penguins are currently up by two going into the third period, which would be a nice capper to the evening if it holds.

  10. Even if you remove like 4 wins against teams we should have lost to, Columbus, San Jose, Chicago and Anaheim are so bad, the Habs would still finish ahead of them.

    As long as we finish 5th for the lottery, we’ll be guaranteed of a very good pick.

  11. Brendan Gallagher is in the team because of his ass and he knows it. He’s been known to spend day long sessions just squatting. When he’s in front of the goalie at the crease, the goalie is in complete awe and unable to focus which has been proven recently. How could they when the Mia Malkova of hockey is standing right before them, the only peaches they’ll be seeing that day. When he’s on the ice just a slight flick of the buttock is enough to send him sailing to catch the pass and get a shot off. Forwards undoubtedly have it in the back of their minds that they won’t get to see that prime rump till a Gallagoal is scored on them. And eventually like Brendan Leipsic sending a text he knows he shouldn’t, they just can’t help it.
