  1. Yeah Rodgers definitely already knows the system he will ignore and audible out of

  2. OK, those smarter than me chime in. Is it possible the Jets could steer towards Lamar now that he has asked for a trade which leaves Rodgers a Packer?

  3. Really this is what they have to say to indicate they are comfortable waiting out the Packers until their price comes down. Seems like both sides are getting more entrenched, wonder if it’ll go past the draft.

  4. Nathaniel Hackett’s first time running this system was last year in Denver after mostly learning it under LaFleur, and we saw how that went.

Didn’t run this in Jacksonville or Buffalo when he was the playcaller there.

So I’m not totally confident it would be a good idea to turn up and expect it all to run smoothly.

  5. Lamar news = Jets +1 Leverage

This comment from Saleh = Packers +20 Leverage

Lmao, Rodgers and the Jets staff doing everything they can to shoot themselves in the foot on this.

This has all the makings of “Broncos get Hackett to lure Rodgers” 2.0

  6. Lol Rodgers with unfamiliar WR core and no preseason workouts or ota…. Lol good call we’ve seen how that plays out before.

  7. Haha ok, firstly the Jets aren’t signing Lamar, so the Packers price whatever it is doesn’t change.
Also as the preseason goes by there’s gonna be at least one QB injury, another team will come calling as someone once said R-E-L-A-X

  8. This mindset is why our week 1 games have been disasters the past couple of years. It’s one thing for it to happen when your QB is established on his team and they can recover. It’s another when it’s a completely new team.

  9. Man the Jets really freaking out about trading one 1st round pick for what would be their franchises best qb ever and best chance at a superbowl in a decade. I really dont think its more than that and I know for a fact the Packers would only be interested in draft picks, like always. Never bought the elijah moore rumors, we just dont have a history of signing guys like that. Rodgers said on PMT last year he had 3-4 more years left so i guess 2-3 years of his services isnt a 1st round value? It’ll get done but its starting to get weird

  10. Does this mean the worst of both fanbases continue to hate each other for thinking they have more leverage? WOO HOO!

  11. Kurt Benkert about to fire his agent for signing with the XFL before this opportunity came up.

  12. Can you imagine Lamar Jackson elevating Lazard? Wow what a great decision that would be. Pff

  13. Most Jets ever is this negotiation, straight poverty franchise. They got hustled by Gutey, and the Packers don’t need to deal Rodgers. This is going to backfire BIG TIME even if they manage to land Rodgers IF they delay it.

You saw this year how poorly Rodgers adjusted to new players.

  14. It’s hilarious how Jets fans seem to think the Lamar tweet changes anything.

  15. Which means they’re just gonna sign Kurt Benkert instead of trading for Rodgers.

  16. Feels increasingly that this will be a post-June 1st trade and that compensation has largely been agreed.

  17. Y’all are getting a second round pick, not a first, just accept it at this point.

  18. They are assuming a lot at this point. Can they really throw a bunch of ex Packers players and staff at the wall and hope it sticks?

  19. Sounds like exactly what rodgers complained about. Packers treat their old players like shit. Great branding for anyone considering the packers as a landing spot in the future knowing they will be treated like trash when we are done with them

  20. I believe this is why the Packers are waiting so long to make a deal because they don’t want Rodgers to kick ass for the Jets and make them look bad. The longer they wait the less time Rodgers gets to spend with his new team going over schemes/cadences/signals. If Rodgers has another MVP season Gute is going to look so bad. And it’s not all that far fetched considering he won 2 of the last 3 MVP’s.

  21. We’ll see. At the end of the day we have two good QB’s under contract, and they have none. Front office has planned on the 2023 cap hit already so can wait as long as needed. We’re not going to give away Rodgers for nothing so I don’t blame the front office for holding out for a respectable deal. The Jet’s first rounder plus a conditional 2024 is more than fair for a HOF QB. If they wait until after the draft I would ask for even more for getting greedy. If anything I’d rather pay to see the Jets struggle with Zach Wilson again for another year than cave to the lowballing…the reactions from Mike Greenburg would be worth it alone

  22. I got my popcorn, I’m just here for the show. Either way, Love is starting and our cap is fucked, this thing will clear itself up eventually. Best thing would be to do it post June 1 and we’re 2 1/2 months out so we’re all better off just enjoying the insanity and being glad it’s our last offseason of this idiocy.
