Cami Kepke in Twitter: Darryl Sutter says the plan is for the whole team to wear the Flames’ first pride jersey for warmups on Tuesday. Sutter has previously said he’d welcome an openly queer player on his team and reiterated that this morning.

edit: if there are any silver linings from the jersey provider change, maybe they could actually produce some of these specialty warm ups on a wider scale? so many amazing jersey that end up costing thousands 🙁

These are nice, but can you imagine the reverse retro done up in this style? The horse snorting rainbow-colored flames.
We also have a big Russian on our team who isn’t opting out. Zadorov used pride tape last year and is expected to wear these jerseys. Good guy Zadorov

How do I buy one of these baddies
Why are teams only wearing those special Jerseys in warmups and not in game? I mean they look so cool (back history Jerseys and indigenous history Jerseys as well) why not wear them for the game?
I really wish they’d print these shirts for $20-30 or whatever and donate the proceeds. I’d 100% buy one and we could all wear them in the stands to show any queer fans or players there are more of us than the bigots.
