  1. I’m trading down.

We can find #2 receivers in the 2nd and 3rd rounds, and we have a good deal of holes to fill.

Though there’s nothing wrong with grabbing another #1 receiver.

  2. 1. Joey Porter Jr.
    2. Deonte Bank
    3. Zay Flowers
    4. Brian Breese
    5. Cam Smith
    6. Quinton Johnston
    7. Drew Sanders

  3. Out of those 7? Porter all day. Murphy is rock solid. But Evans suffered two concussions last year and Booth proved those injury prone issues true.

  4. With 4 picks (or was it 5 after compensatory picks?), I’d probably be looking to trade back unless

BPA is a QB, WR, OT or edge rusher that KOC’s pounding his fist on the table for, and we want that 5th year option.

    or

The gap between BPA and the guys we expect to be available early in the 2nd was so massive that trading back isn’t worth it.

  5. Deonte Banks or Joey Porter Jr if they’re there, trade down and take Josh Downs if not

  6. Probably Porter Jr., but I’d give Flowers some serious consideration. It’s tempting to go for one of the best WRs in the class, all the best offenses have a WR2 who could be a WR1 for several other teams.

  7. I’m hoping either they trade up and grab a QB or trade back and get two 2nd round or one 2nd and a high 3rd round. I don’t believe done with trades either two may running backs – Cook will be gone and Z or Hunter, extra draft capital.

  8. I would definitely go Porter here, I believe he’s one of three day 1 starters in this draft at CB. I think CB talent day 2 and 3 makes anyone after Witherspoon, Gonzo and Porter less exciting. Though I do love Cam Smiths game. I know we’re guilty of comparing every undersized CB to Winfield, but… Smiths such a heavy hitter at CB, I think he really is one of the closest in recent memory.

That said, not sure I would be locked into 23 just because obviously we could trade down 5+ spots and still land a stud. So I’d dangle Murphy to the Chiefs and hope maybe we could swap 23 + 89 for 31 + 63. Then I’d revisit who’s still available. If it wasn’t CB, WR, or EDGE, I’d probably trade down again to a team that wants to secure a 5th year option on someone. Just because 25-50 the prospect talent gap isnt huge and getting as many pickings in that 30-90 range would be my priority.

  9. If JPJ is somehow still there at 23 you RUN up to the table to hand in your card. Don’t overthink it.

  10. Trade back so that we have 3 picks between the 2nd & 3rd rounds and fill multiple holes

I’d like us to go 3 of either: WR/DL/LB/OL
