4 out of the top 5 are Eastern Conference teams. How the turn tables.
It’s crazy that we’re already this good. 2 seasons ago we were drafting 3rd overall and now we’re a top 5 team in the NBA.
I was listening to a Ringer episode yesterday where 3 guys were predicting which teams will dominate the NBA by 2026. Only 1 of them didn’t have the Cavs. It’s kind of wild that even 1 wouldn’t. His rationale is that we don’t have an answer at 3 yet.
But our core 4 is so good and so young. I think the 3 will be eventually answered by Okoro (already shooting well), but even without him being a great starting 3 we’re STILL a top 5 team. None of our guys are going to be getting worse over the next 3 years (barring injury of course)
Excited to nip the sixers to the 3 seed and still be ranked 5th
Looking at the 76ers and the Cavs remaining schedules, it’s likely that the Cavs could pass the 76ers in the standings.
