3. It is annoying to be down by one, but mild are overrated and we put 5 on this goalie the last time he was in net for a matchup with us, and that was when we were still half an AHL team.

7. It’s only 2-1 but they have looked really rough. Like they aren’t executing the game plan.

10. Pretty sure the avs could have Igor or Sorokin in net and some people in this sub would find a way to blame them. Yeah the first goal was a bad giveaway but it’s a cross ice pass and a quick shot, the only way he stops that is if the wild shooter didn’t place the puck close to the post. The 2nd goal a backhand during a 1v1 puck battle 2 feet in front of the net. Not sure how most people expect Georgie to become superman to stop that. I think most goalies don’t stop that second goal with the distance and reaction speed needed. I’m at the point where I think 90% of the people who blame the goalie have never played a day of decent level hockey in their lives.

12. We are lucky to have one goal. If Georgie would’ve caught the shot in his glove, we’d be down 2-0.

14. That first goal was pretty pathetic. Should be a 1-1 game. It’s especially frustrating, because the entire division basically rides on this game, and the Avs just give the hottest team in the entire league a goal for free in the first 4 minutes.

15. The Avs are losing a pretty evenly matched game, that I can live with. But can Eddie please stop sucking the Wild dick for every single small play they make.

24. I would recommend looking up Girard’s advanced stats. I started to get on the “trade him” train a while back, but he really is a decent player. Not a superstar by any stretch of the imagination, but a generally solid D-man, not to mention he’s pretty much free to have on the team.

    Can’t let them camp out in front of the goal or push them around.

    Just a bit of clean up, settling in, and they’ll be fine.
