  9. Fuck yes! Beyond being the best player in the Sox, he’s such a good dude! Honestly didn’t doubt he’d be back this year just how he is, but never would have imagined that soon being a possibility. Hell yeah Liam!

  11. I honestly don’t care if we don’t see him this season as long as he beats cancer. If he can beat it and come back that would be awesome and inspiring, but either way Fuck cancer

  12. Love Liam, but I think Rick is high to expect him back at a top level that soon. Chemo is poison it’s possible we never see him return to his old self. Obviously I hope I’m wrong. Also does anyone one else think back to when Hahn was dangling Liam as a trade chip early this offseason? Did the Sox realize he wasn’t the same anymore and try to get rid of him asap before realizing he had cancer. Hope the Boo’s for Hahn opening day are deafening.

  13. My daughter has a huge crush on Liam and was really sad when his cancer was announced. This is something everyone can be happy about!

  16. Liam is going to kick Cancers ass this offseason and he will cure cancer for all in the 2024 offseason.

  17. I’m surprised there isn’t an exempt list for something like this and teams don’t have to play around with the DL for someone coming back from cancer.

  21. Former chemo nurse. Very surprised they’re considering having him back on the roster so soon. Based on his diagnosis, his chemo regimen likely includes a drug that can have significant side effects on his heart. Hope he doesn’t push himself too far, too fast.
