Darren Waller played WR at Georgia Tech. He participated in the combine as WR. He spent his first three seasons at WR. In 2022, he had the highest % of routes run vs. blocking of any TE in the NFL. I’m starting to feel like we traded for a big WR, not a flex/hybrid TE… And I love it.

dabes and wink are at the cutting edge of “positional-less football”
“positions” is a meaningless term when it comes to offensive skill-players and defense. if you can play you can play and we have the best coaches in the business to get players on the field playing to their strengths.

Yes, but his NFL career was at its least productive when playing primarily WR. We’re best off just not labeling him and just lining the guy up in whatever mismatches we can.
I think that’s what the coaching staff plans on doing anyway tbh
As a Raider fan I can confirm. He is an X
Yea he’s gonna be a focal point of the passing game. Our OC Kafka comes from Kansas City where they rely heavily on Kelce in the passing game. I think Waller is gonna shine this year
I don’t know why any WR would want to go to Georgia Tech during the Paul Johnson years lol.
No doubt he has shown to have elite recieving ability just hope he stays healthy :/
