Not sure why people are excited about getting bounced in the first round like it’s some kind of achievement for an aging team that’s 4 years removed from a title.
Watching Mavs and cheering for Doncic now. So sad they lose to Heats last night.
Even if hawks win vs Mavs, we will still be 8th.. since they will be 39-40 then.. 38-40 is better tho.
The way the remaining schedules look, I actually see Raptors, Hawks and Bulls all going 2-2 to end the season.
That means Hawks get 8, Raptors 9, Bulls 10.
Can someone explain why fans of the Raptors should want the team to be an 8th seed? They’re not going to be able to climb to the 6th seed where they would not have to participate in the play-in and finishing top-8 in the conference removes them from the draft lottery. Simply coming from a place of curiosity/inquiry. What advantage does it provide outside of playing one or two fewer games to make the playoffs?
True fans are hoping for the 9th seed because this team doesn’t #RunFromTheGrind.
Once Dame recognizes that, he’ll demand a trade here and we’ll be set to win championship #2. Think about it.
