[DavidEarly] Embiid has logged 224 more minutes than Giannis. That’s more than 4.5 full 48 min ballgames. Voters look at total games played but workload should probably matter too

  1. Yeah Giannis plays notably fewer minutes than other star players on their respective teams.

    What is the point of this? Do we want to make player wear fitness trackers next to see how many calories they spent on each game?

  2. I mean, that’s true, but the Bucks are so damn stacked that he probably rests quite a bit in fourth quarters. We don’t have that luxury.

  3. That’s why I hate 65 games rule people just gonna start at the jump ball and sub out instantly

  4. Love embiid but couldn’t this be seen as Giannis bringing very similar production in less minutes?

  5. r/nba can you stick this post up your ass … thank you .. and have a nice day .. also FTC ..

  6. I’m so tired of this debate. At this point just want him to win so we don’t go through this next season it’s draining and toxic.

  7. And the fact that, no disrespect to the 76ers supporting cast biut Gianni’s is on a team that would be vying for top spot in the East even WITHOUT him they are that good. Certainly cannot say the same for the 76ers.

  8. The thing that concerns me more about Giannis is the fact that most people are going to be Jokic or Embiid/Giannis. So Embiid/Giannis will split votes, giving Jokic MVP.

    Kind of saw this in the strawpoll too

  9. If Jokic wins the MVP this season, it will be the lowest number of games played by the MVP since Bill Walton.

    * not including shortened seasons.
    ** tied for fewest games
