For this game, I feel like the Lakers themselves viewed it as this-game-is-important-for-playoff-seeding rather than let’s-stick-it-to-Westbrook. It just speaks to the mentality of each team.

I still believe it was completely fucked for the Lakers to play a back to back against the Clippers who had a four day break.
They act like the Lakers heavily mistreated Westbrook. The Lakers traded championship pieces to get Russ, Bron and AD tried to adjust to Russ, Vogel refused to bring Russ off the bench, hiring Ham in hopes of appeasing Russ, letting Russ consistently close games. So how did they mistreat him?
A lot of people (especially in the OKC sub) trying to make Westbrook out as a victim and it’s fucking hilarious.
Brick plays like trash for 1.5 years and somehow he’s the victim.

Westbrook’s numbers are more or less the same with the clippers but he’s great there and used correctly but terrible here and the Lakers just used him wrong. There’s no difference, it’s not like the clippers have been setting the world on fire with him. He was a terrible fit here but he was given the same opportunities.
