Reactions and Overreactions from the Phillies Slow Start

Is it time to panic yet? The only team to win a World Series after starting 0-4 was the 2021 Atlanta Braves.

One thing at a time. Remember we’re down one of our top 3(?) starting pitchers as well as our mvp caliber superstar. We just gotta have a few good bounce back series and then stay on cruise control until Harper and Suarez get back. Hopefully we can prevent any further 1st base woes for the rest of the season.
The loss of Rhys was only making me more and more sad as the first week of the season went on. I’ll admit I thought we’d manage with Hall but it’s so clear that Rhys was/is the absolute heart of this team and there is very clearly a huge piece of the puzzle missing without him. I hope he can get back in the dugout soon at least but man…he’s left a gaping hole in both the clubhouse and the offense. I really really hope this extends his time in Philly and we get to see him again next year.
Losing Harper and Hoskins is like losing our heart and soul. Not super surprised we’re off to a slow start although this is slower than I’d feared.
2021 Braves did it w/o Ronald Acuna & Michael Soroka too…
The loss of Hoskins did not just require moving Hall to first, it also required adding Sosa or Cave or Harrison to the starting lineup. Hoskins to Hall may only be a minor downgrade; Hoskins to Sosa/Cave/Harrison is a huge downgrade
