yeah how many teams had “easy” schedules like ours in the past but didn’t manage to do what we are doing.
This is what drives me nuts when our division says shit like our wins are inflated from beating the O’s, or something like that. Like, you fucking play them just as much as we do. It’s like that fucking bike meme where he puts a stick in his spokes then blames something else. Could our first 9 games have been harder? Absolutely. But are you losing to the “Mickey mouse teams” we beat? Also absolutely. Like, fuck guys. These people are the reason they should teach critical thinking in high school.
Good teams beat bad teams. 2021 and the Orioles is the perfect example. And, in the long run, the ability to consistently play at a high level and not play down to opponents matters.
Everyone always underestimates us, that’s always been the case. Of course, we will lose someday, until then, fuck em. This current start has been simply amazing regardless. Raysup!
10-0 is near impossible no matter the schedule.
Yep. Yea it has been an easy schedule. Yea playing better teams obviously isn’t gonna turn every game into a blowout (and will lose eventually, even to bad teams), but doing this so well for 8 games straight is still impressive.
