That was a silly game. Pablo Day tomorrow let’s even the series!
I didn’t love the outcome but still positives to take away from that game. And it’s kind of what we expected with Cease on the mound.
Offense needs to step the hell up.
Didn’t expect to win against Cease today, but disappointing we fell a little short and couldn’t take advantage of their numerous mistakes. We need to get healthy, because some of these guys shouldn’t be every day players as it currently stands.
I don’t think it’s doomerism to be concerned by the fact that our utility infielder/platoon option is batting cleanup 10 games into the season because of how many injuries we have.
I’m just here to pout.
I expect lukewarm but rational takes from everyone from this one game. I certainly don’t think anyone will extrapolate anything from this experience we all had to the rest of the season.

The White Sox did their best to give the game away with their assortment of errors. Couldn’t take advantage with the matinee lineup.
Dang, felt like that one was within reach, but hey it was our #5 against their ace and we got to their bullpen early. Not too mad, get the next 2

The clock has been amazing and has made the game instantly way better, but hopefully the fans counting it down in every late inning high leverage situation is gonna be a short lived symptom.
Winnable game, but at least that’s only the one we expected to lose, and we made them work for it.

Have the Twins ever had a pitcher where the bona fide MLB players would give up and take the game off? I don’t remember a team sitting its “good” players against Viola, Erickson, or Santana. Am I misremembering?
