  1. I mean, what the fuck is AJ Hinch doing? Completely winnable game by the Tigers and I don’t really blame the players for this loss?

Hinch has a completely rested bullpen and he just chooses to leave the rookie in for another inning through the heart of the order? I don’t blame that 8th inning on Englert. Dude is a rookie pitcher who was left out there to get killed. For absolutely no reason. After having a great 7th inning.

Why is Schoop batting in the 9th? The whole point of McKinstry is to play the splits, Schoop has had terrible AB’s for a majority of the game and you don’t use McKinstry? The one reason he is on this team is to face righties. Hell Haase is still on the bench, might as well put the ‘power’ bat in

People will shit on Manning, but not that bad of start against one of the strongest offenses in the American League. Facing both the Astros and Blue Jays and coming out of it with 11.2 IP | 4.63 ERA isn’t that bad at all. Of course tho… too many HR’s

Edit: Carpenter shows he belongs in the clean up spot despite not getting any results. Wolf boy gets his first HR of the year and Torkelson with a 10 pitch AB (forgot the exact amount) and a hustle double. That’s probably the good for the game + Everyone’s plate approach against Manoah.

  2. Well I think this has to be a contender for most painful game of the season… so far

  3. I’m personally starting the rumor that Harris and Hinch don’t get along. Hinch thought Harris should spend during the off-season but Harris just assembled a AAAA squad. Hinch puts players in bad spots to send a message to Harris.
Who else will join me in spreading this rumor? I have already created 13 different twitter accounts to begin my mission.

  4. Another loss… Oh well, still 2 more chances to get back to .500 (for not getting swept in a series)

  5. Unwatchable. This team is worse than 2019, maybe 2003. I love baseball, I love the Tigers, but I can’t watch this

  6. If the Tigers don’t land Victor Wembanyama in the draft this franchise is REALLY in trouble…

  7. I’m glad I turned it off when they tied it. Had a feeling this would happen, watched a nice documentary about wildlife near fjords instead. Much better use of my time.

  8. The Tigers are a shit 🥪. I was hoping for a little bit better play than this but the pitching on this team is too trash to be competitive.

The hitting remains frustrating as hell.

  9. There is a select amount of people in this sub who don’t understand how bad the Tigers actually are. They lost half of their bullpen and did virtually nothing to fix the lineup this off-season. Team just isn’t gonna magically produce runs like the Rays because they lack the talent to do so.

  10. I feel like “culture” has become a huge cliche in the sports world, but hiring a bum who had to cheat his way to the only significant accomplishment of his career can’t be good for an organization. They deserve to lose 110 games this season. Way to hang your youngster Englert out to dry ya shithead.
