Lake Placid Olympic Center, home of the Miracle On Ice

Driven by this place many times going to NY. Always wanted to tour the place
The miracle on ice is where I would go if I had the opportunity to see any game ever.
Herb Brooks Arena!
Played on this a handful of times as a kid. Nothing like it.
Had the chance to play here in a tournament as a peewee before people had camera phones, wish there was a photo or two from that game
We visited here a few years ago, we got yelled at when we walked on the ice.
Very cool experience to see everything.
I was lucky enough to catch a few ECAC games there while I was at Clarkson. Hallowed ground, it’s a great barn and Lake Placid is such a cool little town.
Watch out for gators.
So this is good, but ppl have a problem with the Coyotes in Mullet Arena?
I played a game in this arena back in the mid aughts when I was a Bantam or so. Was an awesome experience, the rink was larger than we were used to as well, really made us feel small out there. We got to meet Jim Craig as well, super nice guy.
**Edit** – ok so someone reported me to the suicide hotline for this comment lol….this sub can be weird at times.
Look at that gorgeous ice and boards. So clean without ads everywhere.
I played a game on it over the summer for camp
And a 4OT thriller when Bowling Green beat Minnesota-Duluth for the 1984 NCAA championship.
One of the greatest hockey stories of all time. Even as a Canadian you can only admire the tenacity of the Americans. Pure determination and nothing else.
