Even with him, what are our chances of winning a SB next year? For the people acting like it would guarantee us a playoff spot… it wouldn’t. We would still have to go through KC, Buffalo, Cincy, LAC, Baltimore, Miami, etc. while having one of the toughest schedules in the league.
I for one don’t think it’s worth mortgaging the future for a 1 year rental. A 2023 2nd round pick and an escalating 2024 pick (up to a 1st if we make it to the SB), everyone outside of GB thinks that’s fair, so take it or leave it. And if a deal isn’t done after the draft, then get Matt Ryan, Wentz, Bridgewater, etc. on the phone to come in for a meeting and give the Rams a call about Stafford. Then if it still isn’t done after 6/2, then make a move in another direction.
