Led by Karl-Anthony Towns’ 28 points, 11 rebounds, and 3 blocks, the Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder, 120-95. Rudy Gobert (21 points, 10 rebounds) and Anthony Edwards (19 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists) added a combined 40 points for the Timberwolves in the victory, while Shai Gilgeous-Alexander tallied 22 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 blocks for the Thunder. With the victory, the Timberwolves have secured the No. 8 seed in the Western Conference and will face the No. 1 seed Denver Nuggets on Sunday, April 16 (10:30 p.m. ET, TNT) in the First Round of the 2023 NBA Playoffs Presented by Google Pixel.

The Timberwolves will now be making consecutive Playoff appearances for the first time since 1996-97 through 2003-2004 (8 straight years).

  1. Okc got nothin to be ashamed of. Bumch of young guns everybody said they would be bottom of the league but they almost snuck in. Their future is bright & this is only the beginning for them

  2. Personally, I think franchise players should be able to sign 7year contracts. (With the condition that you can't trade, of course).

  3. The amount of ppl that annoyingly 'predicted' Okc's win is crazy.. They make it sound like Wolves are a team full of bums that they got no chance to win. Ppl's bias can get themselves that stupid I swear 😂😂 Glad that Wolves with Towns & Rudy (probably 2 of the most hated stars in the league) have humbled those dumbos a little lol
