  1. That’s kinda hilarious. So not only was he injured when Boston sent him over, his performance likely wasn’t unaided to get his prospect status. But we got the press for Pomeranz playing for them.

  2. The sympathetic take is that if I was a pitcher whose career was hanging by a thread after several unproductive years in the minors and multiple surgeries, I’d be doing whatever I could for a competitive advantage. But getting caught means that Espi is probably done, even moreso than the fact that his arm is completely cooked.
