edit: 2nd pitch from Ras to Springer is maybe not a missed call. However there were 11 missed call (9 favoring Jays) which is more than each team’s hit this game

Number 3 to Varsho was the one that fucked us the most. No telling how Ras navigates the Chapman at bat with 1 out and runners on first and second, but there is a very good chance he can recover and finish the inning clean if he gets that call.

I don’t believe in missed calls. The Umpire calls the balls and strikes, plain and simple. Their subjective perspective is part of the game. Pitches that look like strikes to the Umpire are strikes – period. Wheyher it benefits or hurts us, that’s my position.
