Will Smith to the 7-day injured list with a concussion
The Dodgers have signed catcher Austin Wynns to a Major League contract & placed catcher Will Smith on the 7-day injured list with a concussion, retroactive April 13.
In order to make room on the 40-man roster, the Dodgers transferred RHP Alex Reyes to the 60-day injured list.

Well fuck! Why do we have so many injuries already
I’m literally racking my brain – when did he get injured? Was there a bad collision in SF?
Also in before tHeY sHoUlD cAlL uP cArTaYa – dude’s not ready. He’s only just been promoted to AA this year.
I don’t remember him getting hit by a pitch while batting in his last game on 4/12. Did he get hit in the head while catching?
Hoping for a swift recovery! Get well soon!
Get better soon Will. 🙏🙏
Not exactly the way I wanted it to go down, but I knew Dodgers should pick up Austin Wynns, let’s see what he can do.
What the hell happened to him??
It this from when he took a foul ball to the mask?
Could’ve slipped and fell in the shower or something for all we know lol
Oh no… so like I heard he got sick, no a concussion from what?
I do remember will getting hit at some point and Joe saying “he’s not one to show when something is bothering him” but I can’t remember if he had gotten hit in the head or not?
Yea,? When did he get hurt? My dumbass googled will smith concussion and that didn’t help at all lol
You think Russell Martin is down to put the cleats back on
without Will (or of course Trea/JT) this year, the lineup is not NEARLY as good
Sending Big Willie strength to Will Smith
Realistically how long is Will Smith going to be out? My guess is 3 weeks.
Max Muncy is our emergency backup catcher.
The part of me that loves chaos really wants to see this happen. (I’m not wishing for anyone to be injured!)
Kudos to Will and/or the medical staff for identifying. He’s definitely missed but I just want him doing everything necessary to get back to 100%.
