At what point do we send Nate Eaton back down and bench Dozier? We’re nearly a month into the season and Eaton is batting .045.

Caught a great nap during the game. There is seriously nothing that puts me to sleep like some Royals baseball background noise. Takes me back to being a kid in my parents living room where my dad watched every game. We sucked then too, but that’s what I’m taking from this terrible season. Jesus, I can’t get over how good that nap was.

I’m going tomorrow with my brother in law and his family from out of town, fucking embarrassed to bring him. The kid shit behind the scoreboard better be up and running otherwise it’s going probably not be any fun.

I was/am hopeful for this team. But that’s fading. I’ve seen bad stretches and recovery from them. I think they’ll end up being better than this, but this is tough to watch.
