  1. And then he followed that up with *“I look forward to pitching here at least 20 times a season for the next decade”*… right?

  2. Imagine, Henry and co. could redeem themselves entirely in the eyes of most with just one big move…

  3. Just give him Rhode Island. Give him the whole state. I’m sure they wouldn’t mind.

  4. Lol he could list us as a preferred destination in the offseason and ownership would offer 6 years 200

  5. If the plan was going hard after Ohtani for next season then I think it would be worth the past few seasons.

  6. Realistically, he’s probably only signing with 1 of like 5 or 6 teams (LAA, LAD, NYY, BOS, SEA?, SF?). So it’s still a long shot, but with Yoshida here, I don’t think it’s crazy. And I keep tricking myself into believing the lack of FA signings this winter was to make sure we had space to at least make an offer.

  7. Let’s have a very rationale conversation about this quote and not assume this means he’s shipping up to Boston…

SIKE. OHTANHI AND YOSHIDA ARE GONNA BE THE JAPANESE MANNY AND PAPI. SOX IN 4 FROM 2024-2032 AT LEAST
