  1. I love Carpenter. Knew he would be good after paying attention to his minor league stats last year.

  2. Whats the MLB record for walk-off wins in a row?

edit: Seems that it’s the Royals with 6 in a row.

  3. Kerry Carpenter should easily be penciled into the 4 spot in the lineup from here on out, the guy is one of the few true power hitters we currently have on this team. Sweep this double header boys!

  4. Carpenter feels increasingly legit. Dude is an absolute barrel monster when he makes contact. Clearly adjusted to Karinchak’s high fastball mid-AB, and didn’t let him get away with another one.

Also great games from Greene and Haase, both of whom badly needed it. Englert also deserves mad props for saving the bullpen for tonight.

    Just a great all-around win!

  5. At some point we have to at least TRY to play Kerry against LHP right? Right now he’s our best hitter (I don’t think it’s close???). He’s earned the right to be tested.

His minor league numbers really are not bad against lefties either. Not saying it’s a guarantee he’ll have success, but has he not earned the opportunity??

  6. Was at the game in Toronto on Thursday and been listening to them throughout the weekend and today while I work. I’m getting 2021 vibes again. Hopefully this attitude can be maintained.

This team likely won’t have a winning record, but I appreciate when effort is put in to make the games at least entertaining, as these past few have been.

  7. Can’t believe that pitchers are still trying to throw high fastballs past Kerry. Dude cranks them out every time.

  8. Longest winning streak in the AL. Moved into 3rd in the division. tied franchise record for consecutive walkoffs. WHATS NOT TO LOVE ABOUT THE 2023 TIGERS?

  9. Eric Haase needs to be our permanent DH. Dude rakes, but is just *ass* defensively.

  10. That Kerry Carpenter at bat was just awesome. 10 or 11 pitches? Kept extending it. And then bang hit a missile to win it all. Hopefully plate discipline like that is a sign of things to come – probably our biggest offensive liability has been poor quality at bats.
