This definitely could be the last year this team is competitive in its current form before needing a retool, id love to atleast see some spirited efforts in the playoffs at the very least, even if they don’t win the cup

I know past isn’t prologue in this case, but the two other times this team has just been boatraced and felt completely uncompetitive were Game 1 against the Jets in 2018, and Game 1 against the Avs.
Both of those series turned out OK…so I am not despairing just yet
