  1. The A’s are the whole reason I got into baseball in the first place. Really sucks for their fans.

  2. Ownership telling the fans “it is what it is”. What a shame. Terrible organization.

  3. I attended many games there, saw many great players,HOFers and Jim Bibby of the Texas Rangers throw a no-hitter against the classic world champion A’s lineup. This team deserves the opportunity to flourish.

  4. As a Houston Oilers fan, I can empathize and I hope you all have a better city government than we did. I hope you all kept the name of the team. At least there will be hope for some day in the future.

  5. This is something my Rays are going through as well as their lease on the POS Tropicana field expires in 2027. If the city of St. Petersburg does not come up with a stadium plan soon I’m afraid one of the best teams in baseball may move to Memphis.

  6. Always had a weird liking to the A’s as a Red Sox fan. Color schemes plus Eric Chavez was the start of it in the early 2000’s

  7. This sucks for the 12 season ticket holders but in reality, Oakland didn’t support the team just like they didn’t support the Raiders. Owners are in it to make money and if they can make more by moving the team to Vegas, where the Raiders are having success, they’ll do it.

  8. Just a few short years ago, Oakland had 3 major sports teams. Soon they’ll have none. It’s sad.

  9. It’s a shame the A’s didn’t find the success the Warriors did and got the bandwagon bay to back them.

  10. Oakland and Tampa do not support their teams. Sucks for the few fans that exist but these aren’t baseball areas.

I’d be surprised if Vegas was a supportive baseball area. NFL is a different animal than baseball. 8 events a year can draw a ton of fans. Baseball is a grind. I’m sure the Corp sponsorships will be nice but I don’t know what the passionate baseball Dan base will look like.
