  1. The midnight “Nick Nurse and Toronto have mutually agreed to find him a new team” tweet is going to hit so hard

  2. I don’t think I’ve ever been looking so forward to an end of the season presser as I am this season. It’s going to be interesting if he doesn’t hold back.

  3. “I believe in this core” i swear to fucking god if i hear that shit come out of his mouth……

  4. The classic how to duck the media without ducking them holding a presser on a Friday at 11am lmaoooo

  5. Interesting observation. The members of this sub that were incredulous that Nurse spoke loosely and honestly regarding his future….. are going to be the same crowd that will be annoyed that Masai gives nothing but rehearsed professional answers tomorrow.

Get ready for a lot of “winning” “future” and “development” type buzzwords

  6. “Season was important for us to evaluate where we are as a team” “We want to win in Toronto” “Nick is a huge part of this organization ” “We are focused on winning” “All we care about is winning” “We want to win”

    Over/under Masai saying win/winning

  7. Don’t get your hopes up you all. Remember that both Masai and Bobby are the masters of saying nothing. I doubt anything of clear significance is said tomorrow.

  8. Improvement is not linear. Believe in our city, believe in our organization. We will evaluate. All about winning.

  9. First off I want to acknowledge the team for putting in work through the season, everyone from the coaching staff, the athletic staff, the players, and those in the arena. We truly appreciate the work that goes on behind the scenes and never want to forget that.

Having said that, this season while some may have found it disappointing, we in the front office would have to disagree, because at the end of the day our vision preaches patience. You’re going to hear me repeat that phrase a few times this morning, but it’s aligned with all of the moves albeit small that we’ve made this season. Patience. In evaluating the season and our current roster, you know, Bobby and I have been patient to allow the initial roster to develop and grow as these things sometimes take time.

Obviously that wasn’t working to our liking, and it was clear our moves during the trade deadline emphasized the willingness to stay patient and give our coaching staff the time to evaluate and try different fits with the roster.

We had a clear mandate in preaching the patience during the trade deadline, where we got Yak, to evaluate some pieces in the roster and how it improved our defensive rotation and gave us some length at the 5. Obviously there’s not been as much improvement as we would like to have seen with the resulting play-in performance, so at the end of the day bobby and I have a lot of work to do this offseason and we will evaluate and deconstruct. I want to make it clear, Nick is our coach, this is his team. The decisions we make will always include coaches input and he’s a very important piece of this franchise. At the end of the day, the road to our next championship will be lined with moments of patience and weathering the storm. I assure all raptor fans out there that this team will have improvements year over year, it will take patience and time.
