  1. Prediction: Sports gambling will ruin one of the major 4 sports in the next decade after a massive point shaving scandal will be leaked involving a commissioner

  2. Clayton or whatever his name is being ejected after his no muscle flex and losing was so funny

  3. Doc is right PJ definitely won us that game. He was keeping everything in the alive in the 4th quarter.

  4. Maxey was a beast, harden was hopping while he was in the game (fuck that call) and Joel had some big defensive plays when we definitely needed it…but shout out to PJ for being a fucking dawg. This is what we brought him in for, he steals so many extra possessions and is elite at tracking the ball for his height. Those will be big when we play Boston and hopefully Milwaukee who have more depth and just as much talent as we do if not more overall.

  5. Factoring in the higher stakes, most satisfying dub of the year! Battled through a ton of adversity and Joel gets the last laugh on bitch Claxton. Thank you so much ‘Reese

  6. Claxton getting ejected after flexing his weak ass arms 😭😭😭 completely sold the game for his team

  7. Biggest takeaway?

Aside from Maxey – the biggest contributers to the win were PJ and De’Anthony.

Our two offseason signings. Shoutout Morey for getting that absolutely right.

  8. Ben Taylor and Tony Brothers were a serious problem tonight. Mikal and Cam are passable, fuck the rest of the Nets.

  9. Oh christ, they have Eliot shorr parks on the Ricky…. They really couldn’t get a better guy? Can’t wait to see Spike’s reaction to some Eliot takes.

  10. Claxton is a such a bitch I’m going to need a embiid poster dunk on him next game

  11. Wild that the reason we were able to pry Melton from Memphis is because he was borderline unplayable for them in the playoffs

  12. I’m still in disbelief about the foul call for Dindwiddie at the end. And then the refs upholding the call. I hate how much manufactured bs there is

  13. Survive and advance. That’s all that matters.

What could Joel do to negate the double/triple teams effectively? Post deeper quicker to get in the action early in clock? Drive immediately? Be a cutter off ball? More off ball movement by the team?

The Nets are playing him really well, I don’t expect that the Celtics would copycat the defense but they’d probably implement it a bit more.

  14. Tony Brothers masterclass and countless dirty nets plays weren’t enough to stop the sixers.

  15. seeing us beat them with embiid mainly passing out of the trap is a beautiful thing to watch as someone who’s watched jo have to carry the load by himself way too many times in the past. it’s a great sign that the “other guys” are making shots.

also, maxey seems to be emerging as a bonafide star in this league. he’s really gained so much confidence since james joined the team. he has taken his game to another level once again. this is a game that we would have absolute lost the last few years. hard not to start to build some hope around this team lol
