I was onboard with letting Unseld finish his last contract year, but this would be an exceptional get.

Reddit GMs: What does Nurse bring to the table if hired? What are some further moves if any? Is Washington a realistic destination for Nurse?

  8. I feel like a real coach like him wouldn’t want to start over on a tanking team, so probably not a good idea with this roster since he’d prob want to keep it largely intact?

  9. Nurse is probably the hottest candidate out there with his pick of jobs, including Houston, which has some young talent he can mold, a real chance at landing the #1 overall pick, and might be in the running to get Harden back.

    The Wizards job isn’t going to appeal to him. He wouldn’t even have a GM right now.

  12. I thought the report when Tommy was fired stated that WUJ would return as coach next season regardless of who was hired as GM? Doesn’t that make any talk of what coach is on the market irrelevant?

  13. Wes is the son of the greatest Bullets player. He is going to be given more time to prove himself then he should be given. Look at how long it took for Georgetown to fire Patrick Ewing, that’s the situation we are in.
