[Hicks] There wasn’t a single person in media that knew the DeForest Buckner or Yannick Ngakoue trade talks were even happening in the past. Rumors prior to 2018 draft had Indy taking Roquan Smith or Bradley Chubb at 6. I’d just be surprised if all of a sudden Indy became super leaky

  1. The post is the second part of a thread, the first part is:

    > The Colts could still take Will Levis, and I wouldn’t hate it at all, but I do find it weird that suddenly every single National guy knows Indy is taking him.

    > The Colts are petty notorious for not being leaky. The smoke around Levis seems way too thick to me

  2. This years draft is unlike any other under Ballard. Sitting at 4 and have to get a QB. It’s easier to pinpoint who they will probably take compared to prior years.

  3. Ballard admitted in the radio interview today that he knows our info isn’t getting leaked based on what’s being reported in the media. And the QB linked to us the most is Levis, multiple reports about how Levis would be a great fit for us. That makes me believe they truly want AR or Stroud (if he falls) over him.

  4. Not that I think our info is being leaked, but Irsay does seem to be more involved now than he used to be.

  5. I don’t think it’s a leak necessarily but from what I’ve seen Young is a lock for Carolina, CJs stock fell and AR is a multi year project. Levis definitely seems like the obvious choice for Indy.

  6. It seems people have forgetting that we aren’t picking 1st overall. The colts themselves don’t know who they are picking on draft night, so how could there be a leak? We will all just have to wait a few days and see.
