When the greatest player in the game today raises his arms in the air that the puck was hit with a high stick that should tell the losers in Toronto that it hit the stick . Not an Oiler Fan but it was still the wrong call
Oilers fans showing real class with their excuses. End of the day, LA is playing stingy, structured, resilient. They have the better goalie and they play hard. LA has been the better team so far in this series.
All these oilers fans in the comments who think it was a high stick when he didnt even touch it:
Go Kings Go!!
Let's all agree the TNT broadcast is superior to the hot garbage ESPN gives us.
I’m a Kings fan and I zoomed into the video and it wasn’t a high stick.
I never comment on these videos… but my god, what a brutal call. 1:55 you can clearly see the puck touch the blade. Terrible reffing overall this playoff season. Not just this series
The oilers are a good team. But why does mcdavid and leon who have so many points struggle
Good goal…
That challenge was pointless and didn’t even see nothing wrong with that. Since the puck came off the glass
By the way evander Kane bet on the kings tonight and his wife still frowned upon him
Thank you tnt for better announcers, thank you refs, and thank you Mcjesus for wasting two cheat codes on this game. Go kings go!
Oilers got another lesson on the perils of taking stupid penalties, hope they learn self-control before the series is over.
It made contact and guess what it still counted. NHL sitch room in Toronto should all be fired there incompetent bunch of cheating losers.
Marty McSorely's revenge 30 years later 🏒
Ok lets agree that he touched the puck.
1. It has to be rock solid to overturn a goal which it isnt 100%
2. It hits Ekholm and he challenges for the puck (no possession tho, true)
3. The goal happened 15 seconds or more after the touch after both teams played on
Whatever call they made it was going to be wrong for 1 team and good for the other. Personally I'm happy with the one made but I would understand no goal as well.
❤ GO KINGS GO ❤
Hey everyone! Don’t forget to drink your postgame dosage of oiLer tears. I’ve heard that they’re a good source of vitamin C and are popular thirst quenchers 😋 Blame the refs and extra salty flavor will be coming out soon 🔥🔥🔥. Although I don’t recommend the extra salty flavor cause it often leaves a bad taste in your mouth. GO KINGS GO!
the oilers can't take any moore
& nurse gets 9 – 10 mill a SZN? Dang lol
Cheap call
Mcbaby crying at the end
Going into the playoffs, I was rooting for Edmonton. However, that throwing stuff on the ice BS in Game 1 made me lose all my respect for them.
You know for a FACT that if this game was in EDM, there would've been piles of trash on the ice, and that's just inexcusable.
Kings are playing better hockey. Oilers need to quit crying and have some better discipline.
it is at the top of its arc and then it starts to fall. if it’s spin DIDN’T change as its relative velocity fell and it changed directions it would be a marvel of physics
As a Kings fan, I am so happy for the win. But the puck touched his stick at 1:56 for sure. If you zoom in on the video, you can clearly see it. But I will take the win.
Oilers have been playing 2 teams this series. One is black and silver and the other is black and white. Hopefully we can just play the LA kings game 4 and not the Zebras.
GO KINGS GO
Clearly high stick how anyone disputes this knows nothing of hockey or physics! The puck changed trajectory at his blade equalling puck touched stick ! Edm will pay for their disgusting fan’s behaviour!
So far, it has been a subpar officiating, but when given opportunity like PP, you have to capitalize on them so as to avoid controversy.
Oilers fans always mad cuz they live in Edmonton
The fact that even some Kings fans think it was a high stick and some Oilers fans think it was not, shows the video replay does not suffice as conclusive evidence. Therefore, call on the ice stands. GOOD GOAL.
