Bengals OT La’el Collins wants to target Week 1 return

Seems a bit optimistic to me, I think it’ll be a few weeks into the season at least before he is back.
Does it really matter, if you take your orange colored glasses off I think most of us would admit the dude is just not good. Even when he was healthy he wasn’t good.
I’m not holding my breath. Recovery from that type of injury is longer and harder for a lineman. Even if he does come back wk1, which is think is aggressively optimistic, there’s no guarantee that he will ever return to form.
That being said, I’d absolutely love to be completely wrong

I like his optimism
Hopefully the surgery and time off the legs also helped his ankle and his lateral movement is improved as a result.
If he’s working that hard on coming back I’m pleasantly surprised. Love hearing it- we need him. Who Dey!
