Oilers fans right now with their Zapruder like film analysis of the alleged high stick.

Suddenly everyone has a doctorate in physics talking about the puck trajectory. Maybe there was a second high-sticker.

  1. You give them too much credit. Most struggle putting on their belts. They are complaining harder than their arteries after a decade of eating disgusting brewhouse food.

  2. How about flames fans worry more about why their franchise is a dumpster fire and let playoff teams worry about the playoffs?

How about running a poll about which rat will jump ship next?

  3. I’m honestly on the side of it was the right call, even if it did touch, it was barely and didn’t effect the play as the puck was wobbling at its apex and was gonna fall anyway, but, in 2023, with 8K technology and 13 different angles, it was still actually impossible to tell if it did distinctively

  4. As an oilers fan, I agree with this statement. As much as I was hoping they’d overturn it, I couldn’t see anything conclusive and I also think it is stupid that you can overturn a goal for a high stick that didn’t put the puck in the net.

  5. Not the refs fault that the Oilers are allergic to even strength goals, team defence and staying out of the box

  6. Everyone gets hosed by the refs. It happens to every team. It just seems the calls always go the California teams way.

  7. I’ve seen this from several angles and can’t see it touching the stick. However, it does have a noticeable change in momentum right at the moment it might have touched the stick.

While I think the puck did touch the stick, none of the replays conclusively show that. I think the league made the right call.

  8. Funny how they made fun of us complaining about the actual garbage Coleman no goal last playoffs. Then they lose their minds over this call. When there is obviously not enough there to overturn the call

  9. Honestly what makes this loss even sweeter is the oilers fan crying about refereeing. I for one would be over the moon if this thing causes them to lose this entire round. Serves them right for Coleman’s brutal call and them giving us shit and pointing our loss to them in playoffs to our eventual subsequent collapse and players wanting out.
