Hadn’t seen a post yet. There’s a lot of new stories out this morning about this possibility.

Edit: Upon investigation the only thing I’m able to find regarding the alleged agent tweet was that the man who first tweeted about it (Akbar Gbajabiamila)

is represented by the same agency as Henry. So take it with a grain of salt (maybe)

  2. My heart would be crushed and I would be down tremendous. However if we could get a good deal in return I understand the move.

  3. There were two threads of discussion that got bumped by mods. Assume this thread is similarly at risk.

    With that said, unless there is something new, the tweet was from the Ninja Warrior host, who shares representation with Henry, not Henry’s agent.

  5. If we can get anything close to what Carolina got for CMC I say go for it. Especially if we can get Israel Abanikanda in a later round. Guy gives me CJ2K vibes

  6. Just heard folks talking about it on my local fox sports radio station. Seems like this rumor is really picking up traction. Those other threads probably should not have been deleted. I’m nervous lol

  8. Since there is nothing else to do today, let’s pretend this is true… What type of draft picks are you looking for the titans to get in this trade?

  9. This is my 100% pure speculation farm raised bullshit idea on this trade.

    We trade Henry for their 30th overall pick. Then we turn around and trade #11 AND #30 to Houston/Arizona to move up and take a QB.

    If this rumor indeed pans out this is the only acceptable scenario for me.

    For our backroom team, the move makes sense as we are rebuilding and he is our only bargaining chip

    For the team, it makes 0 sense

    For the fanbase, it would be a disaster

  12. Well I guess we’re trying to get Philly into the Super Bowl. Trade AJ Brown one season and Derrick Henry the next

  13. He’s so important to the team, Philly are never going to offer up what he’s actually worth to us. I’d be incredibly sad to see him go

  14. Even if true –which I SERIOUSLY doubt–I don’t see this being really advantageous for us.

  15. If this does happen I think it all but guarantees we are trading up in the draft, but Henry is worth so much more to this organization than just being a player.

    Trading Henry makes sense for the team, but man what even is our offense without Henry?
