  1. Yeah. Trying to get some team to try to trade up for possibly the only wr that has a top 20 potential.

  2. This has got to be to throw teams off. Trade down that 10th pick for a team needy of WR then we take who we wanted with the 10th pick at 12 or 13 anyway. And add some draft capital. I don’t know much but I don’t see us taking him.

  3. Yea I’ve had the eagles smoke screening this whole off-season. Eagles can play this game, they’re playing with house money at this point. Im thinking I’ve seen the least amount of smoke around lucas van ness. I think they are looking edge.

  4. At this point I think FO folks are just releasing these “sexy pick” rumors because they get a kick out of it.

What’s hilarious though is that they’re probably planning to draft an OT to replace Lane in 2 years, which would be about as unsexy a pick as it gets (tho I’d totally be happy with that).

  5. Sweet merciful Jesus. Please no. I can get the reach of an LVN or Nolan Smith. I can get the very boring drafting of a Guard at 10. But JSN to play WR3 is just wild.

Legitimately would be a worse pick than Bijan at 10. At least Bijan would tangibly impact the team.

  6. I’d be shocked if the Birds grabbed JSN. There’s many other positions that are a bigger need. If he’s still there at 10, I wouldn’t be mad at trading back.

  7. Why would they spend a high first rounder on a No 3 WR? As far as their depth chart?

  8. Your annual reminder that this is also a great chance to see and work with prospects who you would be interested in if they underperform or will cost too much at the end of their rookie deals.

Not every review is someone they plan on drafting, but may become a trade target in a couple years.

  9. X for doubt. I would surprised if we draft a WR in the draft period. The only position we are less likely to draft in the first round is QB.

  10. I think we’re trading down and want to know how many guys we can feel comfortable doing so for. If we like 5 guys vs 6 guys left at 10 then maybe we can trade back to 21. If it’s only 3 or 4 maybe we can only trade back to ~15 and be ok. All good due diligence.

  11. Yeah this is smoke. Would like to see them pick up a talented receiver in the mid or late rounds though.

  12. Draft a WR3 and the 4th passing target on the team? Now that’s just bpa.

Draft a RB1? What are you doing, you bozo? /s

  13. Would be the perfect slot receiver for us, but I just as much like the idea of taking Bijan at 10 and take Mayer or Kincaid at 30 and center our offense around two TE sets. With Jalen and Bijan as running threats and two good all around TEs and Smith/Brown on the outside that would be a fun offense.

  14. I go to OSU I want to see him on a team he’ll get targets. He’s better than Olave and Wilson

  15. Two thoughts:

1.) JSN is by most accounts WR1 and there are a handful of teams behind Philly (Tennessee, New England, Green Bay) who absolutely could use him. Very viable trade back piece if he is available.

2.) Remember, the Eagles have only used 1st round picks on four position groups in the last 20 years: QB, OL, DL, and WR. It fits the methodology.
