Has anyone seen these stories or comments Derrick is mentioning? Seems weird that Nolan would change his swing after an amazing year
It's been written and discussed. I guess it was more prominent today because a lot of folks have been asking about it. But he's been seeking a swing that gives him authority to the opposite field. A few stories/comments from the offseason & spring.

It’s been working too; so many more opposite field hits.
My only concern is whether he’s balancing his swing both ways or if he’s over-prioritizing oppo hits. I’ll admit that I haven’t paid much attention to trends vs last year. Just throwing it out there
I haven’t seen any discussion about that. The only thing I’d want him to change is his not-swing. It seems like he takes the first pitch so often.
