Sounds like this team has assets that contenders want. Making a bunch of noise about our guys
To be fair, he shouldn’t be willing to take a cut
His play has not dropped off, especially compared to the rest of the secondary on defense.
He has been healthy and reliable (*knock on wood*)
He is a model citizen on and off the field.
I get seeing what wiggle-room they have there, but there are few reasons to argue he should negotiate a pay cut
Carthon: “what you think about a pay cut?”
Byard: “nah I’m good”

Ran GM’ing like I used try and pick up girls in bars and having the same amount of success in this case. Worst thing they can say is no!
