    I get 12 is special for us…but I had kinda warmed up to the idea of seeing it once in my life. And Rodgers switching numbers so late feels so weird lol.

  17. I’m pretty glad this happened to be honest. I know that Rodgers is a hall of famer too. But I feel like once a number is retired it should stay retired, for anyone. Especially if it’s the number of the most important single person in the history of our franchise.

  18. I like it. 12 is a special number for us, I don’t love it being “unretired” even though Namath gave his blessing. And for him, this is a new chapter, so it makes sense to have it symbolized with a new number.

    Kind of a shit move by both parties.

    Retired numbers should stay retired.

  33. I’m not a huge fan of retiring numbers. They Yankees will retire them all at some point. Would be interesting if they had like a ring of honor for numbers instead. These are the best #12s etc.

  39. Packers fan here. One nice takeaway for Jets fans : Aron is as petty as you’ll ever see any mother fucker when he feels he’s been wronged or slighted. If he comes into training camp really in shape and minus some Hollywood starlet you might be in for something good or really great.

    So probably a slight overpay on the Jets part right now , but the upside could be unreal of the team jells quick and you make the playoffs next year.
