2. What a clickbait title. Never said he’s competing for the starting job. He said “compete for a job” which is completely different.💀 It could be backup or somewhere else lol

4. So, in order to logic yourself into thinking that Lynch is talking about competing for a backup job you have to ignore everything else they’ve said. But if that’s how you roll, keep on keeping on, because it’s hilarious.

5. This was clear of an indication to me that the team is excited for Purdy and have seen enough of Trey to look elsewhere. Sam Darnold isn’t here to be a 3rd stringer.

   I was excited for Trey, but he throws a wobbly spiral. That can’t happen at this level.

8. Class act of a GM. Competent, fair, conscious of players but putting the team first, respectful, honest. Go niners.

9. He never once said anything about Trey competing for a starting job with the niners just a starting job he also said Trey knows what the situation is. I take that interview to mean Trey is not going to be a niner. Hopefully we get as much as possible in the draft.
