Anybody on the draft board have “Pick” in their last name?
Is there anyone with the last name Watt in the draft perchance?
Honestly after what I consider to be a great FA period, I think we just need to address our CB room early and maybe build some Oline depth. I wouldn’t mind a late round WR gamble either since we seem to strike gold the most often on those.
I hate mocks that don’t make sense. The Steelers trading up to 12 to grab an OT makes sense. The Steelers also using the 49th pick on an OT does not. Typically (not always), teams do not draft the same position in the 1st and 2nd rounds, nor do they draft the same position in the 1st round in back-to-back years. I’m sure there are multiple reasons for this, but if you hit on both guys, then you’re going to have to pay them both a lot of money at the same time or in consecutive years. That leaves you thin at other spots.
