The PFF 7 round mock draft has Buffalo drafting:

## 27. [BUFFALO BILLS](https://www.pff.com/nfl/teams/buffalo-bills/4): WR [ZAY FLOWERS](https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/zay-flowers/97268/draft-profile), BOSTON COLLEGE

Zay Flowers in the same wide receiver room as [Stefon Diggs](https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/stefon-diggs/9579)? Yes, please. Flowers’ quickness and change-of-direction ability under Diggs’ tutelage could turn him into an absolute nightmare for defenders to try to stay in front of. Give quarterback [Josh Allen](https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/josh-allen/46601) elite weapons and let him cook. With Flowers in tow, this Bills offense is potent at all three levels on every snap.”

## 67. [BUFFALO BILLS](https://www.pff.com/nfl/teams/buffalo-bills/4) (VIA DEN): OG [CHANDLER ZAVALA](https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/chandler-zavala/144009/draft-profile), NORTH CAROLINA STATE

Buffalo’s offensive line is a mess outside of left tackle and center. Zavala isn’t a perfect prospect, but he’s a huge human with a strong anchor and an ability to punish linebackers trying to shoot interior gaps on blitzes. He’s shown a strong understanding of different protections and has a chance to start in Week 1 and grow into an above-average interior lineman.”

## 91. [BUFFALO BILLS](https://www.pff.com/nfl/teams/buffalo-bills/4): LB [DORIAN WILLIAMS](https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/dorian-williams/97694/draft-profile), TULANE

Williams is one of the best coverage linebackers in the class, boasting a 6-foot-8 wingspan and 4.49 speed. He earned an 87.0 coverage grade this past fall.

## 108. [BUFFALO BILLS](https://www.pff.com/nfl/teams/buffalo-bills/4) (VIA DEN): OT [TYLER STEEN](https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/tyler-steen/81921/draft-profile), ALABAMA

Steen has four years of starting experience but figures to be a guard convert at the next level. He’s one of the more powerful linemen in this class and has the traits to be a plus pass-protecting guard.

## 130. [BUFFALO BILLS](https://www.pff.com/nfl/teams/buffalo-bills/4): RB [DEWAYNE MCBRIDE](https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/dewayne-mcbride/121495/draft-profile), UAB

McBride was the most dominant running back in college football over the past three seasons. In that span, he ran for 3,507 yards on 484 carries (7.2 yards per carry) and broke 175 tackles on 484 attempts. Unfortunately, he also fumbled nine times during that stretch.

## 137. [BUFFALO BILLS](https://www.pff.com/nfl/teams/buffalo-bills/4): CB [ELI RICKS](https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/eli-ricks/124109/draft-profile), ALABAMA

Ricks missed a large portion of 2022 after transferring from LSU to Alabama, but he locked receivers down when he was on the field. He yielded all of six catches on 19 targets for 77 yards with five pass breakups on the year.

## 205. [BUFFALO BILLS](https://www.pff.com/nfl/teams/buffalo-bills/4): EDGE [THOMAS INCOOM](https://www.pff.com/nfl/players/thomas-incoom/145694/draft-profile), CENTRAL MICHIGAN”

  1. I love Zay Flowers pick and he would be an excellent fit in Buffalo’s offense.

There is no explanation for why Denver has Buffalo’s 2nd round pick, 59th overall, which makes no sense. I wish they explained who Buffalo traded for so I could evaluate it that was a good or bad trade.

I hate the Chandler Zavala pick as Buffalo has Connor McGovern at LG, Mitch Morse at C, Ryan Bates at RG and Greg Mancz , David Edwards and Ike Boettger as back up IOL. With the way the PFF draft board falls, I would much rather have DT Dervon Dexter or LB Trenton Simpson or DE Byron Young.

In the 4th round, Tyler Steen is an ok pick but S JL Skinner or OT Nick Saldiveri or TE Zack Kuntz.

I don’t have an issue with RB Dewayne Mcbride in the late 4th round but you could also draft CB Riley Moss who IMO would be an excellent candidate to be mentored by Poyer and Hyde and transition to Saftey and to be a starter in 2024. Moss could also give you reps at outside CB and nickel CB if there are injuries.

I don’t like the pick of Eli Ricks when C Olu Oluwatimi is available. Oluwatimi could learn from Morse this year as the back up and be the longterm starting center for Buffalo.

In the 6th round I would rather gamble on a talented but raw player with a huge upside like OT Jake Witt. Witt is new to the Tackle position but is very athletic with a 9.8 RAS. Given time to be developed by Aaron Kromer, I can see Witt turning into at worst a very good swing OT

  2. I don’t get the Flowers hype.

Marquise Brown is one of the only good WRs with his measurables. Brown was a much better prospect. Hollywood is also 2 inches taller and probably has 10lbs on Zay by now.

  3. This mock is up and down. 2 great picks, 2 meh, 3 awful picks. I’d guess it was a PFF draft if blindfolded and someone read the picks to me.

  4. I like Zay…. But boy, the rest is a head scratcher… think I am done reading mocks for the year. 2nd round IOL? Thats our deepest position on the roster rn.
