Houston would take Tyree over Anderson. Even outside of this trade scenario, they might pick Tyree instead of a QB if the latest intel is right

I’d be calling for Fontenot’s job if he picked an RB over an available Tyree Wilson at 8. Would be clear malfeasance.
If the Texans go Anderson at 2 and one of the QB’s fall to 8 I would love us to be the one they trade up with. I don’t think Bijan makes it past Philly so only way I’m doing it is if they give us a first next year.

Yeah but Artie is going to pass more…sure. If we draft Bijan we are running 650 times minimum. Might as well trade Pitts then. No point in him blocking/decoying all year. I would put money on Jonnu and Bijan getting very close to as many catches as Pitts if not more. Waste of top 5 draft capital for a talented TE such as Pitts to not be a focal point of the offence.
My opinion is wait and see if Wilson is available, if so, pick him. Exact kind of player Nielsen loves. If he’s picked, move down and see if you can get Bijan or Smith later. So I would not love this scenario
