  1. You’d think we’d have the same record as the A’s the way some people in this sub act during these games

  2. Plenty of scoring opportunities wasted, but at
least Mancini is finally looking good at the plate. Oh well. Go win the series tomorrow.

  3. At least we made them use there top two bullpen pitchers and had Hader throw 21 in an inning

  4. I can’t be mad. That was a great loss which was close until the end against a really good team that got off to a cold start. If this is the type of game we lose I’m happy with it.

  5. Low key glad we didn’t score at the end there because then I would’ve just been more pissed at Ross for throwing Merryweather in there down 1 run. Absolutely ridiculous he’s still on this team.

  6. Tough way to end an otherwise exciting 9th. Valázquez doing his best to earn a more permanent spot is interesting

  7. I just don’t trust the pen on nights Thompson and Leiter don’t pitch. And Merryweather needs sent down like last week

  8. Cubs when shutting out the opposition and/or having the offense score double digit runs: 10-0
    Otherwise: 3-10

  9. No more Hosmer. Box score says 1-3, but that was a really ugly hit. If Ross didn’t ph Madrigal for him in the 9th, I was going to riot.

  10. Super underwhelming homestand. Not liking our chances tomorrow either. Damn would suck to lose both series at home after the starts of both

  11. I’m so happy that this team is “in” all these games. I only got to watch from the 4th inning on, but I was involved and never once thought the Cubs were out of it. This is a team a lot of people picked to win the WS and we’ve been in both games so far. Add in the competitive games against the Dodgers and Brewers, we are opening the next window

  12. Letting Smyly take this no decision is one of the worst decisions grandpa rossy has done. Bringing in Hughes is criminal alozay was good. But 8-9 was just horrible

  13. velazquez has earned a spot on this team. despite the loss, insanely clutch patient at bat against one of the best stuff guys in the league

  14. Bummer of an ending, but I got to deliver the game ball to the mound before the game, so a pretty great night despite the freezing cold.

  15. Can we get a well-being check on the douchenozzles behind home plate? I’m concerned they might have had too many Jagerbombs or Monster energy drinks.
