Love it that all the people who hate this pick are the same ones who were bitching that the oline sucks 5 months ago. Protect the qb no matter what. They didn’t do it when cutler was here and mitch also. Not that wouldn’t matter because he was horrible. Oline is the most important need now. Offense is more important than defense in today’s league.
So I like the Wright pick, but who is Will Anderson going to say is the best OT he played against other than the one who happened to dominate him in their matchup? Wright matches up really well against him because Anderson is a little undersized and Darnell is fast for his size.

I’m no draft expert, but when the best defensive player in the class says the hardest player he played against was the guy you just drafted, that’s a good thing right?
I really like Will Anderson a lot. Every time I’ve seen him interviewed he just seems like a really solid guy. He’s humble enough to give praise to a guy that he had a hard time dealing with in college. I’m pumped about Wright and I hope Anderson has a great career in Houston.
We’ve complained about our O-Line for a decade. Poles comes in and solidifies it. Stone Cold Poles! Let’s go!!!!
