  9. My new theory is Gannon knew Arizona wanted to hire him so he intentionally put on the worst performance in their home stadium to try not to get hired but the Cardinals are so poverty they didn’t care.

    At least that’s what I tell myself to feel better about the super bowl.

Winning that would only make him look even better, as a Suoer Bowl winning coach. No one in that position is just going to half ass the big game.   41. Once he was hired my conspiratorial mind clicked on the location of the Super Bowl and the team that just hired him and wondered.

    It made it little surprise when the penalty was levied. Frankly though I just thought this is more egregious than a 2 for 1 that moved us up in the third round.

    I’m good that we got pick 66, but aside from that….fuck this. How is this any deterrent for other teams to pull the same shit again?

  42. This was obvious. One of the evals of the Eagles defense and greatest weakness was motion..Somethin the Chiefs utilized heavy. Some of the players looked completely lost or just didn’t do the basics of covering motion. Gannon had weeks to prep this tea for it and it didn’t..

    However, I will say it wasnt 100% on him. We would love say the team just got outplayed..But lets be Fucking honest. The field conditions completely screwed the Eagles over,

While I agree that he’s the absolute biggest piece of shit in the universe, I don’t think him talking with Arizona had anything to do with him being “not focused” or unprepared for the super bowl. His defensive scheme has been ass for two years, and he’s always flopped against better coaches/quarterbacks, and has never made many adjustments. Even if he were 100% focused on the super bowl, I don’t think anything would have changed
